    Egg recipes are generally liked by children and it is very good to give them a milk based egg recipe. Here is a recipe called Egg gravy with milk.

    Ingredients: 2 eggs (boilded) onions - 2-3 (cut into small slices), 4 chillies (chopped), 250 gms boiled milk, salt to taste and oil as needed.

    Method: Peel the eggs and fry it in oil on a low flame, fry the onions seperately till it turns brown. Now take a pan and pour the milk. Add onions, fried eggs, chillies, salt and stir it well till the gravy becomes thick and serve it hot.
    You get a delicious egg gravy with milk.

    Tea Eggs:

    There are many dishes made out of eggs. Here is a recipe which can be used as a best snack for children.

    Take 6 eggs and boil them in 3 cups of water for 10 minutes. When the eggs are cool enough to handle, tap the shells all over with a spoon to crack them without breaking it entirely. Keep the eggs back in the water with a tsp of sea salt and two tablespoons of good black or green tea leaves. Simmer this for an hour. Let the eggs steep in the liquid for another half an hour. Then lift out and peel the shells. You will get eggs with a marbeled effect and a unique flavour. Slice it to halves and eat as a snack. These are great picnic food also.

    Strawberry Shortcake Recipe

    3 cups strawberries

    confectioners sugar

    6 biscuits or servings of sponge cake

    whipping cream

    Crush the strawberries lightly with a fork or slice them. Add sugar to taste and set aside to macerate for 2-3 hours at room temperature.

    Prepare the biscuits or the sponge cake. When baked split the biscuits or slice the cake thinly. Layer the strawberries between the layers of biscuit or cake, then top with more berries.

    Whip the cream with just enough sugar to sweeten until soft peaks form. Dollop the whipped cream on top and serve garnished with a whole berry or a sprig of mint if desired.
